Objective |
This incentive promotes the formation of co-operatives that support broad-based black economic empowerment and improves their viability and competitiveness. |
Beneficiaries |
Registered co-operatives of 5 or more Historically Disadvantages Individuals. The incentive has a bias towards rural and semi-urban co-operatives, and those including women, youth and people with disabilities. |
Benefits |
A 90:10 cost-sharing grant towards the costs of acquiring competitive business development services, to a maximum of R350 000. |
